How to Install Dynamics 365 for Field Service?

Both trial and purchased subscription of Field Service application is available for installation on Dynamics 365.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to add field service trial to Dynamics 365:

  • Sign into Dynamics 365 using system administrator credentials.
  • Next, go to Settings
  • Click Microsoft AppSource and look for Field Service Trial
  • Select Dynamics 365 for Field Service Trial and select Free Trial
  • Click the ‘Organization to Add the Application’ dropdown
  • Select the it for Customer Engagement Organization Name
  • Go through the Terms and Conditions and Click Agree to begin the installation process.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to add purchased subscription of field service to Dynamics 365:

  • Go to Billing on the Office 365 Admin Center
  • Select Purchase Services
  • Click Dynamics 365 for Field Service Enterprise Edition 
  • Select Buy Now
  • The system will take you through the installation process step by step. Follow the same to install the application.

Both the installation processes should take around 30 minutes.

After the installation process completes, you need to verify its completion. Click the Customer Engagement Main menu to verify the Field Service application is available. 

Download and Install Field Service Mobile App

In order to use the Field Service Mobile Application with Dynamics 365 you require setting up users and resources enabled for mobile app access. Let us have a look at the steps to download and install this app:

  • Visit the Windows/ Apple or Google Play app store.
  • Download Field Service Mobile App
